We’re very happy to let you know that the graduate school’s May cohort has begun; thanks to your recommendations, we’ve received an incredibly curious pool of students. So, keep recommending and expanding the network of change makers.
We are also excited to announce that on 3rd June we will be hosting a #Booklounge event in the office, Pranay will be in conversation with Dr. M Govinda Rao for his latest book ‘Studies in Indian Public Finance’. RSVP in the events section and come in great numbers both online and offline for a riveting conversation.

Feature of the week
Introducing Khyati Pathak to you
I am a writer-cartoonist who creates comic artwork on not-so-comic themes. My subjects often lie at the intersection of culture, society, and politics. As a curious person, I was always very interested in these topics but had never studied them formally as a part of my education. As I pivoted my career towards writing and cartooning, I felt a need to study policymaking in a structured way so that I could offer an informed commentary on the many issues that I am interested in. I found GCPP the perfect fit for this.
The way I see it - it was a starting point that provided a window into many different rabbit holes. I loved the curated reading lists, and interactions with faculty and fellow students from diverse backgrounds. As someone who works in a silo most of the time, it gave me a community of policy enthusiasts to engage with. I continue to write about politics, culture, feminism, and conservation - themes I feel strongly about. You can connect with me here.
P.S: Do check out this and this video I scripted in collaboration with the team at Takshashila.
